DIVISION G1: This 7-week instructional program is designed to introduce and apply the rules, concepts, and strategies of lacrosse within a safe and organized game environment. The first 3 weeks will be split into 30 minutes of instructional practice and 30 minutes of game play. The following 4 weeks will be all instructional game play.
There will be 12-15 players per team and all players are expected to get equal playing time. Teams will compete in the YLS CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES during weeks 2-7. Week 7 will be the playoff date where we will crown a new YLS champion! Each small team will have a very knowledgeable head lacrosse coach with several assistant coaches. Quality instruction, equal playing time, and good sportsmanship are essential components of every YLS team.
Full equipment is required, and safe play will be enforced at all times.
