Regardless of your lacrosse skill level,
we will prepare you for the 2009 YLS FALL LACROSSE season. |
Grades 1-2, 3-5 & 6-8 Sessions will include small team instruction with very knowledgeable coaches. New and experienced players will constantly work on the fundamentals and strategy of lacrosse. Players will learn how to think through the game, employ high percentage strategies, and plan ahead with confidence.
Each day will include the YLS TEACHING METHOD
1 . Individual Instruction & Attention to Detail
2. Small Group Instruction & Application
3. Small Group Competition
4. Large Group Instruction & Application
5. Large Group Competition
All sessions will finish with full-field tournament games where teams will compete for a YLS Camp Championship while players refine their knowledge of the team concepts, how to dictate the pace of the game, and how to increase success by understanding the rules of the game. This is a regulated contact environment where sportsmanship and positive character will be encouraged routinely.
Full equipment is required and includes: lacrosse helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard, cup, stick, and cleats.
