If you are new to the game of lacrosse we will prepare you for the spring lacrosse season, and if you are an experienced player we will help sharpen your skills to allow you to elevate your game during Spring 2010.

1/2 Structured Practice, 1/2 YLS Winter League Game Play

Grades 2-4 Sessions will include small group instruction with knowledgeable coaches. In the first 45 minutes, players will constantly work on the fundamentals of lacrosse, using high repetitions while moving. The second 45 minutes will be instructional games where players will learn the most essential rules of this team game while competing against other teams. This is a limited contact environment where sportsmanship and positive character will be encouraged routinely.

Full equipment is required and includes:
lacrosse helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard, cup, stick, and cleats.

The second 45 minutes will be instructional full-field games where players will refine their knowledge of the team concepts, how to dictate the pace of the game, and how to increase success by understanding the rules of the game. This is a regulated contact environment where sportsmanship and positive character will be encouraged routinely.
