PRACTICES: Sundays, 11am-12:30pm, starting MARCH 7
GAMES: SATURDAYS STARTING MID APRIL into MAY

2010 HOLLY SPRINGS YOUTH LACROSSE CLUB

PLEASE READ

TEAMS: The 2010 HOLLY SPRINGS YOUTH LACROSSE CLUB girls team will be composed of 24 girls. New and experienced players are encouraged to participate. This is a developmental team that will practice once a week to build the fundamental skills and game strategy necessary to compete.

GAMES: Competitive games against opponents and instructional games in-house will be scheduled on weekends to apply the techniques. YLS SPRING LACROSSE TEAMS will have home and away games in Wake County and these will be instructional & competitive matches.

SAFETY & EQUIPMENT : All participants will be be legally equipped for each practice and game as part of this league. Proper equipment includes regulation lacrosse eye guards, mouthguard, and stick. YLS will provide goalie gear if necessary.

Players will use YLS team jerseys throughout the season and then keep those items when the season is over.

LEARNING: The coaching staff expects players to attend practices and games as often as possible, and to work hard while preparing for each event. Our enthusiastic coaching staff will emphasize fun while still being very competitive. We will provide a professional learning environment where each player learns how to be sucessful with each opportunity they are given.

ABSENCES: In the event of an absence or delay, notification should be sent in advance to directors@ylslacrosse.com so that the team can prepare effectively.
